Autism Benefit Concert

Hand-in-Hand with the Stars
3, 4 & 5 July 2009, Kuala Lumpur

The Parents' Resource for Autism Malaysia (PR4A) is organising a concert to raise funds for on-going activities by PR4A and to set up new centres in the Klang Valley, Ipoh, Penang and Malacca to train parents in various forms of therapy.

The prevalence rate of children with autism in Malaysia is 1 in 600. Funds are needed to continuously train and develop the children's capabilities. Parents of these children are also in constant need for support, both financial and in guidance, to cope.

Please go and show your support! It's all for a good cause!

Zainal Abidin. Jaclyn Victor. Juwita Suwito. Award-winning singers. A composer and musician in his own right, Zainal Abidin together with queen of ballads, Jaclyn Victor and equally accomplished composer and singer, Juwita Suwito are joining forces to enthrall audience with their powerful vocals. For a good cause, they will sing their hearts out to help raise money for PR4A so that more persons with autism will shine. Just like their sensational singing stars.

Their style may be different, but their hearts beat as one to help raise money for PR4A. The ensemble, Hands Percussion, will blow the audience away with their powerful, pulsating drumming while the Aseana Percussion Unit (APU) band will do more than stomping the hall with their unique blend of multi-ethnic sounds. For the first time, Shining Stars, artists with autism, will perform hand in hand with the legendary APU. Brass Percussion Band of The Skills Academy will lend a hand to ensure everyone has a blast.

See for yourself. Be Entertained. Be Amazed. Be Generous. Together, hand in hand with the stars, you can make a difference. Help raise stars. Persons with autism need support and services.
